Till her death in oct 2009 she was 97 or 98. When she died I spoke to her a short before
Her death I was planning to travel to Preston hollow to see the chapel
Since her death the property has been sold to a independent Greek old calendar church
Who turned it into a retreat and camp the rosencrucian society of America in Bayonne
I was told came up their and took all of the stuff books metaphysical items crystals
And the altar and took it to Bayonne nj the rosencrucian group their has told me they
Plan to build a church whether they name it the holy Orthodox Church in America
I have no idea the new owners has erected a proper Eastern Orthodox Church in honor
Of the virgin at the original church building and all signs and evidence of the past have been removed
So their is really no reason to travel up their to see a house and a chapel and nothing remains of the past
Owners of the property I hear Lucia grosch was buried locally in a Russian Orthodox Church in Greene county ny
And interned in a cemetery in Potts hollow ny

Does anyone know the current whereabouts of the SIRA, or Societas Rosicruciana
in America? This is the order reconfigured by +George Winslow Plummer, a.k.a.
Frater Khei, a.k.a. Mar Georgius of the Holy Orthodox Church (Eastern Catholic
and Apostolic). They were most recently located at 321 West 101st Street in
NYC, but seem to have moved with no forwarding address.
Any information you have about SIRA, or the disposition of the papers of
+George Winslow Plummer, would be greatly appreciated. I am also interested in
the current status of the Holy Orthodox Church/Society of Rosicrucians in
America overseen by Bishop Lucia Grosch.

They were formerly located in Kingston, New York; however, I have heard
that within the last year or so, the headquarters was moved to a new
location, still within the state of New York.
Under the stewardship of the widow of George Winslow Plummer (known
within the Order as "Mother Serena"), the Order thrived, with hundreds
of branches around the US. However, under her successor, "Sister
Lucea," membership plummeted, until today, it is the minutest remnant of
former days. This misdirection is related in part to the fact that
Sister Lucea swindled a number of members of the Order to the tune of
many tens of thousands of dollars in a phony land deal, resulting in a
protracted lawsuit, which was only settled about a year ago. Sister
Lucea, who was the object of this lawsuit, remains the Official
Imperatrix of the Order, even to this very day. The settlement involved
a payment of over one hundred thousand dollars to plaintiffs, according
to sources within the Order.

A bunch of years ago when I went up their mother lucea moved the group to Preston hollow ny
And then she died and the Sira group in Bayonne nj went up to the site and took everything and moved to New Jersey and the genuine Greek Orthodox church took over the property and built a proper church in honor of the blessed Virgin Mary and I have never heard from the sira group I was told they were going to construct a church called the holy Orthodox Church in America in Bayonne New Jersey
