Following is the latest London Press Release through PRNewswire, which
also contains a link for the video announcement on YouTube:

MAITREYA STEPS FORWARD

LONDON, January 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Share International Foundation
announces that Maitreya, the World Teacher, has given His first
interview on American television. Millions have heard Him speak both
on TV and the internet. His open mission has begun...

YouTube Video

================

He will not be called Maitreya. He will not be introduced as the
Christ or World Teacher, but simply as a man among men, one of
extraordinary potency, wisdom, obvious love and concern for the people
of the world — not just one group but all people wherever they are,
whoever they are, at whatever level. They will listen to Him. His
voice will be heard. He will reflect the need of the majority of the
human race for justice and freedom, for the right to live decent lives
which most of us in the West take for granted, knowing where their
next meal is coming from, with work and the joy of bringing up their
children without seeing them dying in front of their eyes.
When enough people are thus responding to His message, they will
demand that the networks of the world allow Him to speak and develop
His ideas more fully to the vast majority. Then the television
networks will be linked together by satellite. This will be the most
extraordinary event of all our lives, the most extraordinary event in
history, like none other before it in its scope.
The Day of Declaration will be announced by the media. (Benjamin
Creme, The Great Approach)

This link contains excerpts from an article titled ‘Maitreya's first
interview, a compilation’ published in the March
2009 issue of Share International magazine:

http://www.share-international.org/magazine/old_issues/2009/2009-03.htm#Anchor-Maitreya%27s-3800

There is a detailed answer to the question: "When Maitreya comes on
major television, why will He not use His own name?" , which also
explains why we can't point out Maitreya's interview. People have to
look for it. There will be more interviews in the very near future.

PRNewswire is not a news organization, it's a marketing firm.
Announcements from them are paid advertising and are no more reliable
or newsworthy than any other huckster's ads.

I love the part where Benny proclaims that Maitreya appeared on TV but
fails to say which program or when it aired. Apparently we're just
supposed to believe that Maitreya appeared because Benny said so.
Maybe it was a cameo on "Heroes". Or possibly Jerry Springer's freak
show. I guess we'll never know.

Boy, that was boring. I can't believe how long that guy can talk
without actually saying anything at all. Old Benny isn't doing too
well at keeping up with world events either, especially for a guy who
wants to proclaim himself "World Teacher". At one point he refers to
"the G-8", for example. Apparently, Benny was not aware that in
September of 2009, the G-8 was replaced by the G-20. It comes as no
surprise that Benny demonstrably doesn't know what he's talking about.

Didn't I just note that this guy can talk for quite a while without
saying anything? Apparently, it's just the sound of his voice that's
supposed to enlighten folks. It certainly hasn't got anything to do
with substantive content. "We must have peace, or else we'll have
war." Now there's some breaking news...

Great marketing.

Actually, a good opportunity to contemplaate the whole business of
'the return', regardless of the particular religious culture.

Assume for one minute that there is some truth to the beliefs. How
would the individual actually announce him/herself?
History gives some pretty clear answers. People hold onto such
beliefs, that there is little chance for such an 'entity' to connect
to 'all' religions (as some theorize is supposed to happen. They say
that the appearance will be 'miraculous'.Such is the nature of their
religious beliefs, all of which started with some scientifically non
viable event (miracle),coloured with '360 deg of separation', from
culture to culture, generation to generation.

They would at least want to see something equivalent to that which is
the very foundation of their beliefs. For such people, the miracle of
life itself is not enough !!!

Such is the nature of religion.Always to do with a version of the
past, and a projection (from that foundation)of the future.

The spiritual journey is however, an 'inner' journey, personal in
nature (as we are each unique) and is about the expansion of the
individuals consciousness.
When you look at many of the teachings, the common message is to do
with the realization of the authentic nature of the individual. Of
course, that also fits the needs of those still at the group
consciousness stage.
The L.Of B. move being a superb illustration of this phenomena "We are
all individuals" being the ultimate illustration of this paradox.

I watch with great interest on how this whole Maitreya story unfolds.

All I saw in that video was Benjamin Cream, the fraud. He's a liar and so are
you. Right thinking is one of the keys to enlightenment. Illusion imprisons you

It is interesting to note that many who haven't seen Maitreya will
rush to judgement on this. They apparently assume that Benjamin Creme
and all of those who stand with him are either fools, liars, or
idiots. They fail to realize that the truth is often below the surface
and not visible at a glance. Their assumptions are based largely on
hearsay and vain imaginings. They are not shy about boldly proclaiming
their dimwitted views as if they were true. It's like they have a
road block in their mind that prevents them from saying "I don't
know". Eventually they'll wake up.

It's kindof like the sky is very cloudy and has been for a long time.
Some people have never seen the sun and when people who have seen it
talk about it, the pessimists begin acting like lunatics shouting at
them calling them liars and idiots. Go figure!

I'm very ready for a new world without political corruption, war,
unregulated greed, hunger, and poverty. Seems like it's almost like
the sun is going to come up for the first time in a long time.
Humanity has been working in the dark under the oppression of athiest/
agnostic billionaires who apparently think that life is a game, that
those who amass the most billions are the champions who deserve to
lord over the people. Their time is finished. It's time for the people
to have the power and for the leaders to be the type who love and
respect the people, and want to help them, not manipulate them.

The following was recently sent to my mail box from SI:

Share International has no further details about this interview (date,
time, network, etc), for the following reason: it is very important
that everyone has the opportunity to respond to Maitreya because they
want for the world what He is advocating -- sharing, justice and peace
-- rather than because they think He may be the World Teacher.

Note that there is a link to Benjamin Creme speaking about this
interview (see base of box on homepage titled 'Maitreya steps
forward'). As mentioned on the homepage: "This is the first of many
such interviews which will be given in the USA, Japan, Europe and
elsewhere, bringing His message of hope to the world".

Well ... respectfully, I have at least a couple of issues with all
that. First off, Mr. or Ms. "2B-Clear", that's not clear. I don't
know who the heck I'm talking to, which puts me at a disadvantage in
that ... well, you obviously know, or have access to knowing, more
about me than I do you. That's just not fair, and it hampers
discussion because from now on we're both going to think you know
something I don't, which, in fact, is true. You do. You know
something about me that I don't know about you. There, I said it
(like it wasn't already obvious).

Second, "Millions have heard Him speak both on TV and the internet."
may sound like something, but it's really no big deal. The same
potential exists ... "Here, in our forum; The People's ..."

That's about all I have to say for now. (I've been told I have a 10
minute limit.)

I've been reading your trolls for years. You are a liar and so is Benjamin
Cream.

You're a liar. You've long ago passed being a fool or idiot. You're simply
dishonest.

Another lie. It's plain to anyone with the slightest interest that Ben Cream is
lying. So are you, scum.

Where's the Maitreya then, you stinking pile of puke? You've been doing the same
old shit for years and years. Still no Maitreya. Only lies. Your outfit wants
money. You are a liar and a fraud.

You are the one who is not shy about boldly proclaiming your dimwitted views as
if they were true. Fraud.

You know very well that the Maitreya is a figment -- a confidence game. Fucking
liar.

Maybe the police will come after you, you fraud!

OK, tell us exactly when and where this alleged "Maitreya" was on
television and what name he was using. It's easy to say "flying
monkeys appeared out of Maitreya's ass on American TV", when you offer
no evidence that what you say actually happened.

Honestly, it's no wonder you never manage to convince anyone to
believe you. You've been making the same claims for years and it
never seems to sink in that no one believes you because you don't have
a bit of corroborating evidence.

It's not an assumption, it's a conclusion based on the evidence that,
despite repeated feedback and a resounding lack of positive results
over a long period of time, you haven't been able to figure out even
the most basic rudiments of establishing credibility.

Many things that aren't true are also not visible at a glance.
Invisibility is not a criterion for credibility.

Claiming that Maitreya appeared on TV incognito is itself hearsay. If
you expect people to disregard hearsay, you should not rely on it as
the only evidence for your claims. Otherwise, you're explicitly
telling people they should not beleive you. This is not a way to
bolster your credibility.

So are you saying that you don't know if Maitreya really appeared on
TV or not? Or is there some block in your mind that prevents you from
saying that you don;t know?

Me too. The thing is, I don't think you have a clue as to how one can
accomplish this. You're obviously waiting for somebody to come along
and tell you. You seem to think that Ben Creme is going to explain it
all sometime very soon, but we don't really see any evidence of that
beyond his assurances that someone will. The spiralling Russian
rocket was supposed to be some sort of sign in the heavens from space
aliens, but it's pretty clear that nobody at all was convinced by it.
So either you were wrong or the space aliens are even bigger idiots
than you are.

Then why bother to try to claim that the World Teacher was just on
TV? Why not discuss his message, which "Share International" didn't
do at all? All Ben did was claim that the World Teacher was on TV.
So Ben's only message was exactly what you now say the Maitreya does
*not* want people to focus upon. This Maitreya allegedly wants us to
focus on his message and not that he's a World Teacher, but you and
Ben want people to focus on the claim that he's the World Teacher,
since that's the only information you were willing to share.

Well, we are assured that you will *claim* that this has happened.
although we will also expect that no evidence supporting these claims
will ever accompany them.
